My name is Anna. I started crocheting when I was six years old. I was taught to crochet by my grandmother. I have always loved the art of crochet but didn’t start exploring the world of plushie making (amigurumi) until about four years ago. I’ve been in love with this type of crochet ever since. This art has been a creative outlet for me; after a stressful day or when my brain won’t shut off, it gives me a way to relax.

Last year I decided it was finally time to see what the world thought about my finished pieces by selling them at local markets. The result: everyone gravitated to my table. So many people were amazed that my own two hands made something so beautiful. After that market, there was no turning back. Crochet has been a passion of mine; I’ve always wanted to do something on my own, and that’s exactly what this art has given me. Now I’m ready to share my plushies with a bigger audience.
